Wow, what a great book! My family and I listened to Hatchet this weekend on a long drive to visit relatives. Suspenseful and interesting story that all of us enjoyed. The reader was excellent as well.

It was one of the few "boys" books that my daughter was enthralled with!

I enjoy this author very much. His western series of Tuckett books are some of my favorites and especially of interest for boys!

I will have to check out that western series!

Paulsen's memoir, Winterdance, was a great read also. It is his experience training and running the Iditarod - informative, entertaining, LOL funny, and poignant at times.
