All books on my shelf are 3-1 right now.  I have easy readers, children's books, romance, mysteries, science fiction plus more on my shelf.  In case you are wondering why I am perterbed, my neighbor's teenage daughter was supposed to come over and put my son on the school bus so that I could catch a ride in to my dh's work (we only have one car) so that I could attend his awards luncheon today (he was chosen senior sailor of the quarter for his command), but she never showed up so now I can't go to his luncheon as he had to be to work at 8:00 this morning and won't have time to come and get me before the luncheon and I don't have any other way to get there.

Well, here is an update.  She finally called me at noon and told me that she was sorry that she couldn't come this morning, but others in their house had kept her up late last nigt and her stomach was bothering her.  Sounds like some poor excuses if you ask me.
