Gilliam Bradshaw's Arthurian trilogy is a tale woven around Gwalchmai, nephew to King Arthur and more commonly known as Gawain. Books included in this trilogy are "Hawk of May," "Kingdom of Summer" and "In Winter's Shadow."

Published in 1980 and undeservedly out of print, this is one of the finest retellings of the Arthurian Cycle since the days of T.H. White's "The Once and Future King."
