I recently had posted asking if anyone had any books w/ fancy bindings.   A wonderful member PM'd me to tell me that she had a copy of Jack London's Call of the Wild and White Fang (together in one volume) that was in a nice binding, so I got it from her & it is simply *gorgeous*!!!!   The cover feels & looks like suede & has all the fine detailing you would expect - it is just an absolutely  beautiful book!   While doing a search just now,  much to my surprise, I found that there is ONE other copy of this particular edition listed     No, it's not my listing - I don't know who has it but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else appreciates finely bound books -- this one really is quite lovely!

If that link doesn't work (I seem to have trouble pasting links) -- do an advanced search using keywords  "Hallmark Edition Gift Book" and it will come up, along with a few other books in 'normal' bindings - but it should be the top of the list.     It is ISBN 9780867130669, to make sure you're viewing the correct edition.

Hope this is useful to someone!  This is a truly beautiful addition to anyone's library.

I grabbed this edition of one of my all time favorite books.  Thanks for posting here.

I have quite a few beautifully bound books from the Heritage Literary Club.  They date back to the 60's and 70's.  Some are boxed and some are multi volume.  They all have my father's ex-libris pasted in.  If anyone is interested, I will gather them together and post a list. If you think you might be interested, please PM me as I don't always check the forums.  Maija
