This book was a great quick read with the words of a woman that doesn't proclaim to have all the rules to how to make it, but is willing to share her life story in hopes that it might inspire someone else. Before reading this book, I didn't know too much about Robin ROberts, but now that I have, I'd love to meet her and hear her speak. Very courageous, doesn't offer any excuses for her decisions, very committed and down-to-earth African-American woman. I am truly impressed with her insight!

After reading this book, I better understand why I like Robin so much. She is so genuine in her approach, her style, and her commitment to people and her career.

This was such a good book, that I'm making it required reading for both my high school senior and my high school sophomore. Robin Roberts not only tells about her fascinating life, but also tells how she became successful. In many parts of the book, it addresses young people and their choices and paths they plan on taking. This is a must read for everyone as she is one inspiring person!

This was a very good audio book. It was short, sweet, and to the point. Robin Roberts seven rules to live by were common sensical and I enjoyed listening. I have never watched any of her shows or seen any of her interviews, but I liked her very much as an author. I understand she has had cancer and is kicking it. I'm now one of her many cheerleaders and hope she lives a long healthy life that includes writing more books.
