I've posted in a couple of rooms, so I apologize if you've seen my re-intro already. :) I've been on hiatus for several years now, some of that time without internet, and am super happy to be back! Hoping mostly to make new friends, find some needed items for our homeschool, and also swap a few books for pleasure, for education, and for edification. Can't wait to get to know you all!

Having a little trouble finding my way around the forums these days - are these individual rooms like this the place to get to know folks? :D I've posted also in the homeschooling room, but am a little hesitant to post in the genre spots... not really sure why though. LOL

Just quickly - I'm a 31yo Christian wife and homeschooling mom to 5 kiddos ranging in age from 12 on down to my 15 month old twins. Hubby and I may seek to do our own at-home "Bible school" this year as we press in and do and learn all the Lord would have us. We read fiction and non-fiction (well okay, hubby doesn't read much fiction LOL), teachings, commentaries, encouragement, parenting, youth and children, just about anything! I posted in the main 2012 challenge thread and see there's one specific to this room so I'll go check that out!

I don't think this forum is very active. As far as I can tell, different people through the years have tried to correct that problem--without success. I welcome you anyway. It is my observation that, if you are interested in making some Christian friends, you might want to get involved in some of the swaps that focus on Christian books. If you go to the Games forum, you will see one of the first posts lists whichever games are accepting new participants at the present time. You have to keep checking back frequently on that. Eventually, you will find one that you might be interested in. Through your participation, you will get to know people.
