Hi,
In the last few years, I have received and read many books from PBS that were in the Romancing America series (like Alaska Weddings) and Barbour Publishing 4-in-1 series named after States (i.e. Wyoming) or States Brides (i.e. Kansas Brides). I would like to re-read one of them, but I don’t remember the name of the book.
Here is some of the plot that I remember:
I think it was set in a western state and followed one family through the mini-books. The first story was about a woman who married a man who left her after she became pregnant. When she went to his hometown to find him, she met her father-in-law, for the first time. His “bad” son had used his brother’s name, so there was a mix-up about whether she had married the “good” or “bad” son. (In another of the stories, the “bad” son had reformed and came back to his family’s ranch.)
Does anyone recognize the book I’d like to read again? (I know this isn’t a lot of information to figure it out.)
Thank you for reading this and your help!

Thank you to all who read this! I finally figured it out. The book is called Frontier Brides by Colleen Reece. There was another twist that I hadn't remembered. It is an excellent book and I have really enjoyed re-reading it! http://www.paperbackswap.com/Frontier-Brides-Four-Coleen-L-Reece/book/1593101694/ Last Edited on: 6/18/13 8:43 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
