For my upcoming birthday, my DH has offered to splurge on a personal trainer at the gym. ( 10 1 hour sessions for $210.00--is that a good price?) The gym that I belong to has 5 trainers on staff. When I signed up at the gym in May and inquired about trainers if I chose to go that route, I was told that I could pick whichever of the 5 that I preferred. I had a free session with a "drill sargeant", and I couldn't move my arms above my head for a day or two--although I felt great! I've watched some of the other ones work with the senior citizens in the mornings and I fear that they will be the opposite of drill sargeant lady. Perhaps not, since there is a difference between someone who is 31 and someone who is 71. What questions should I ask, and how should I choose? Thanks in advance!

That's a good deal. Around Portland ME the going rate for a personal trainer is $60 per hour |
