Hi,

I was in NY this past week and saw an ad for a book on a subway. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the book and cannot seem to find on PBS or the major retailers' sites. I'm hoping that someone may know the book or perhaps takes the train and can keep an eye out for the ad.

The ad said something to the effect of, a Russian woman moves to the USA as a teenager, then becomes homeless by her early 20's and then is one of the richest women in Russia by 27. I may have mixed up the ages and order of events, but this was the general idea.

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Marie

If you have a Barnes & Noble (or other large bookstore) nearby, go to the information counter and ask them.  Usually they're very knowledgeable.

I've tried both B&N and Borders with no luck. A couple of people said "Oh that sounds familiar", but couldn't find it either.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
