I hope someone out there can help me find an author and/or character. 

I have read 2 or 3 books in this series, but can't remember either the author or the name of the character, but I want to say the character is maybe something like Jinx?.?.?  She is quite different in that she has many tattooes, some of which she calls her "boys".  They can come off her body and each has a different skillset in performance.  When they have finished their task or when she calls them, they return to their spot on her body and become dormant.  I know this sounds weird but the books are really good books. She has a calling to destroy demons and such and the tats help her in this quest.  Of course, she always gets in trouble and needs their help. 

If anyone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.  I have never used a forum before so please excuse me if I have not done things right.
