I just read Silver Flame by Susan Johnson. Really good. It's not really old West but it's 1880's in Helena, Montana. Empress Jordan is a young orphan who sells herself to Trey Braddock-Black for 3wks to feed her starving siblings. Angel by Johanna Lindsay was good. I have both of these on my shelf and do 2 for 1 on paperbacks. Westerns are my favorite and of course I'm drawing a blank as to more titles. I have several other Westerns in my TBR pile. It's my favorite type and I end up keeping a lot of them. Touch of Fire by Hannah Howell is really good. It's the only western I've found of hers and I've read it a few times. She usually writes Highland books. I love Johanna Lindsay and Linda Lael Miller. |

I have Blaze (unposted) and would send that as a freebie if you want to order Silver Flame. Blaze is the hero of Silver Flame's (Trey) mother. |
