Hello!  I am fairly new and I was hoping to find a book I had started to read about 9 or 10 years ago.  It was about early life in England before language developed in early man.  I cannot remember the title but I believe it was like a one word title.  Unfortunately I cannot remember the writer either.  It wasn't Clan of the Cavebear either.  If anyone can think of it, please email me at:  pagnmom@aol.com.  Thanks so much!  Helaine Ferebee

At the time you read it, was it a recent publication?  was it in hardback or paperback?  Was it science fiction or fantasy? or historical fiction?

I think the book you are describing is Sarum by Edward Rutherford. I read this many years ago and loved it. Hope this helps.
