HELP!!!  I read a book a LONG, LONG time ago.  I can't remember the title or author.  Anyone will a great memory out there?

SILHOUETTE DESIRE TITLE, he's a military guy who comes home (either on leave or for good) to his friend (female).  They end up in bed and when he wakes up she shows him a surprise--his baby that she had while he was away!  The book was published before 1989 (Silhouette Desires started in 1982).  If anyone can remember the title or author, let me know.  My brain has become swiss cheese--everything falling out through holes!  (I blame my kids!!)  :  )    THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

It *almost* sounds like a Suzanne Brockman from one of her early SEAL books except it was not an 80s title.

I have all of her Tall, Dark and Dangerous series.  They were Silh. Intimate Moments.  The title I'm looking for was under Silh. Desire.  Thanks.

This sounds so familiar.  Did she think he was dead or something?  Then he shows up alive and she'd had his baby?  He'd helped her escape from being kidnapped overseas?

Gotta think on it, it'll come to me.

They're separated once he gets her to safety.  He finds her about a year later in Washington DC at a party.  She takes him home, they make love, and she shows him their daughter.  End of book.

I have that book here.  I have been rereading SDs so that I can thin out my bookcases that are overflowing now.  I haven't reread it yet.  Will check it out, though.  Thanks!
