About 10 or 15 years ago there was a new novel about a man and his dog. I first read about the book in the NY Times book review and borrowed it from my local library, so it wasn't too obscure. I can't remember much of the details, except it was about a single man and his dog. The one thing I can remember that might enable someone to help me identify this book is that the dog's owner had an idea of creating a playground of smells for his dog. And the dog dies at the end. It was sad. Does this sound at all familiar to anyone? I've googled "dog fiction" and found several websites listing dog novels, but I can't find the one I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated. |

Sorry, Bob....I came up with nothing, as well. I hit the Book Sleuth site at Amazon Books and it didn't show any archived posts about your book, but maybe you can enter the forum and leave a message about it and another reader will be able to help? Good luck! Linda |
