I've volunteered to lead the next study for our small group and we've decided on the book of Ruth.  The thing is I've never led a study before and don't really know where to go looking for resourses.

Any ideas?

TIA

Maybe this blog might spark some ideas. **NOTE** I have not read through the entire thing...

Francine Rivers wrote a series called The Lineage of Grace Series. She retells some of the stories of some of the women in the Bible. I read the one about Ruth called Unshaken: Ruth. I wouldn't necessarily use it solely for a Bible study... I think we need to dig into God's Word ourselves. But it might give you a good perspective or follow-up on your study. Francine Rivers also put study questions in the back of the book. It's a quick read and as with any FR book, it's hard to put down!

By the way, my prayers are with you as you step out in leading a study. I remember growing very close and dependant on the Lord when I first led a study. I pray the same for you :)
