I see you have posted about it in the Book Bazaar. That's about the best suggestion I would have made. There is also a post somewhere in that forum where you can post your books that are wish listed under different ISBN numbers. That way people can go to that one specific thread to see what WL books are on here under other ISBNs. I'm thinking the book you have will get snatched up since so many have that book on their WL. |

Besides listing them at the Bazaar, you can put a 'Tag' with each one saying "Also found under ISBN #" so they'll know there are other verisons when they go to look at the listings. But it may be that they know already, and just don't want those editions, for whatever reasons. Good luck! |

Advertising in the Bazaar is the best way to let it be known that you have an alternate version of a wish list book. The system will also send out emails to members who have the other versions on their wish list letting them know that an alternate version has been posted so they can order it if they would like. Many people do turn those off if they don't want alternate versions though. As Cindy mentioned, many people will be wish listing specific editions for a reason. People often want the Hard Cover or a specific title for their keeper shelves or want audio instead of a print copy or need Large Print. When I looked at the girl with a tatoo that you have posted in the Bazaar, your specific edition has 7 available copies and of other paperback versions there are over 300 copies available to order in the system right now if a member is just looking for a copy to read and isn't carring about the edition. Odds are many of those wishers on the other ISBNs are looking for something specific. Since your edition has a unique cover and only 7 available, I bet it goes pretty quickly. You can tell how many copies of your books are available by adding them to your Reminder list, the number available will be listed there. If there is a high number of copies available, it is likely that the wishers are aware of the alternate version and they are waiting for a specific version. |

Also, if a book 'similar to' the book being requested (and sometimes these 'similar to' books are not close at all), PBS will send an e-mail to the person requesting the book under ISBN 1234 letting them know that the book is also available under ISBN 5678. Good luck. Pat |

The emails about similar books are only triggered if the listings match exactly. I will check the author's name spelling and the title. They have to be EXACT. A middle initial will stop the link. I will then submit a data edit to make them match. |

You can also turn those emails off. Which might be likely if someone is wishing for one version of a book that's posted in other versions. I have it turned off. I WL a lot of audiobooks where there are plenty of print copies and it would send me dozens of emails every week. |

I had a book one time that didn't have an isbn number. It was a bookclub edition of a book that was on a lot of people's wishlists. I manually listed it and it was snatched up a couple of days later. I have no idea how people found out about it but they did. |

For books like that, I recommend what Cindy suggested, adding a tag to the wish listed version.
And do remember that large print and audio books have WLs for much longer than the main version.
