I read a book years ago about a town of nothing but kids. There were not any adults left, & there were no cats or dogs, only kittens & puppies. It seems like I remember that scientist had given the kids & animals something so that they would never grow up. The store was running out of food also. Does this sound familiar? I asked my librarian, but she had never heard of it. :)
