I have this book I got as a gift, and I'm ready to part ways with it. But the ISBN on the book is the same as the bar code #, I don't know what to do with it since the ISBN on the book is completely unknown, I get zip here and zip on Amazon. But the title pulls up the regular book fine. I looked at the credits inside the book and it has the same ISBN as on the cover, and says it's a special (2010) printing of a 2007 book.

Would I need to generate a PBS # to post the book? Or is it... a typo? It's a WL book, frustrating!

At times, I'll find an ISBN on the copyright page. If you're unable to locate one, you can use the Post a Book Without an ISBN option on the Post Books page. If a book is sent without an ISBN for an ISBN listed book, the recipient could mark it RWAP -- especially if they plan to post it back. If the book is in demand with limited copies, you could post in the Book Bazaar forum you have a 2010 copy without ISBN. If you post the book, you could point to it in your forum message.

Thought I should add this line from the Help Center posting rules: You cannot post a book that does not have an ISBN using an ISBN.

What Thiggy said.  And there's a monthly thread in the Book Bazaar for alternate versions of wish list books.

I also agree with Thiggy.  Check the copyright page, the ISBN is usually listed there.  Otherwise your only option is to post it without an ISBN, then advertise and cross reference it.
