If I understand what you are asking - you want to know why your TBR books appear on your bookshelf?  They actually only appear to you.  You'll notice that your TBR books have a red circle with a slash mark next to them...that means they are not visible to the general public, only to you.  The feature is supposed to make it easier for you to re-post those books.  Just check the box next to the book and hit "post."  If you don't like viewing your bookshelf that way, just change the view in the drop-down to "posted books."  Also, if you don't want those books to be added to your shelf in this manner, when you receive a book, you'll be asked whether or not you want it added to your shelf.  The default is "checked," make sure you uncheck it.

ETA:  You still have a seperate TBR list, that has not gone away.

Hey there Carly,

They actually combined the Bookshelf with the Books To Repost lists. Since the Transaction Archive was created, the record of when and from who (whom?) you received books, there really wasnt a reason to keep both. Like Lisa noted, the ones with the Red Cicle Slash are your books that only you can see. When you mark a book as received you will note there is a question towards the middle of the page "Do you want to take this book off hold?" or something like it. I leave it on hold since I do not want to immediately repost the book. It is as easy to post books from your shelf as it was to post them from the old Books To Repost list. And the Transaction Archive is great too, you can see all kinds of details about swaps.

The other change to the lists is that you need to now apply a star rating to books to add them to your Books I've Read list. But as of today you can also see how many members have rated that same book to determine how many stars there are.

Thanks, Cheryl and Lisa -- I think I get it now.  I'll print out your answers to be on the safe side.
