Can someone help me? I received "book" in mail yesterday however it was mailed in manila envelope and seam on envelope came apart. I received "empty" envelope in mail. Can only image where book is. Not sure how to mark this "Received with problem" "Lost in Mail"---since it was wishlist book do I have to start at the back of the line again and do I have to add that ISBN copy to my wishlist again? It was paperback book put in larger manila envelope and person tape 1 side but the other side came undone. Please help---not sure how to handle Patty |

Patty, sorry that the book is lost. Try here for info ; http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/help_item.php?id=333
If this is a book you requested, you should not mark the book received, since you did not get the book. You should contact the sender to let him or her know what happened.
If you have not marked the book received yet, do not do so. You will continue to get the usual auto-emails from PBS asking if the book has arrived; open and read them, and follow any instructions within. If the book hasn't arrived by the 26th day after it was marked mailed, then PBS will declare it lost in the Mail and you will get your credit back. If the book does arrive after that, you should mark it received from your Transaction Archive.I hope this helps you out. If not let us know. Ruth

Regarding adding the book back to your WL: Once the book goes lost the system will automatically add you back to the wish list in the original position you were in (i.e., anyone who was in front of you but on vacation hold, etc., will still be ahead of you, and everyone else will be after you). This happened to me a couple of times and was very disappointing. :-( |
