Hi there, be happy to reccomend but it might help to explain what they have read in the past or are interested in now.  I have two girls in that age range....but they read completely different things!!  Example--13 yr old reading Kelly Armstrong's Summoning right now, while the 11 yr old is reading Heck: Where the Bad Kids Go (Heck)  by Dale Basye....happy hunting :0)
