I haven't been on for a while-have had no requests and am behind on my reading so no orders.  All my books are checked and 40 are on hold.  What is going on.  I wanted to delete 8 but can't seem to do anything.  Please help.

I don't see anything unusual about your account.  Your shelf appears to have 186 books available to be ordered.

A green check on your shelf means a book is posted and can be ordered by someone.
Do you expect 40 books to be on hold?

What is the actual point of failure when deleting a listing?
Are you not able to find the 8 books you want to delete on your shelf?
If you can find them, are you not able to check the box on the listings you want to delete?
If you can find them and check the box, is it that nothing then happens when you click the "delete" button?

Sometimes non-responsive buttons on a page are a browser problem, have you tried
using a different browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Google Chrome, etc.).

Sometimes rebooting will clear up browser problems.  Have you tried rebooting?
