This is a great book. Well-written and beautifully illustrated. It tells the story of a man born a slave who arranges to have himself mailed to freedom in a box. I bought this for my three year old, but she's still a bit too young to really understand the story - she loves the book, but all she's taken away from it is that she wants to be mailed somewhere in a box :)
