Apparently there is this thing called Book NOtes! I can put a NOTE on a book on my wish list, and ONLY I CAN SEE IT!
How Awesomely cool is that!
My Sister used my list (cause I can't seem to get her to get a membership) and stuck a note of the book she wishlisted, telling me that it was her that wish listed the book!
I mean - HOW COOL IS THIS? Last Edited on: 1/5/09 8:38 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I love the notes!!! Sometimes the covers or descriptions don't match the ISBN's perfectly and I keep things straight using notes. Sometimes I prioritize, i.e. "get this first", or I mark which book I want for which person, like "get this for mom's birthday" I think it solved a bit of the problem people were having with the personal use of tags (let's not bring that up again, though lol). Hopefully I responded accurately to the intention of your post...I think I got it right lol. edited to add: THERE'S your post! It's not just for Wish Lists, you can put a note on any title in the system!! Last Edited on: 1/5/09 8:39 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I use my notes to track where I started on the wishlist, that way I can see how much closer I've gotten. It is a really cool feature! |

I love them too because I've been marking which books are available at the library and do I really need to spend a credit to get the book when I have so many to read?! and when I lend them out to friends or if books on my TBR shelf belong to someone else, I make a note of it so I know where they are or where they belong. Or even if the book has damage and is unpostable or is an ARC and is unpostable. there are so many uses! |
