If this book had been 200-250 pages it might have been good but it was way too long and boring.

Great fun. Although the ending reads a lot like the ending of The return of the Mummy, it lacks that very annoying child. Flin Brodie is no Brendan Frasier but he is a great character. The hidden oasis is full of great characters. The only quibble is that all the bad guys have some form of sexual perversion which adds to the UGH factor.
