Wow, this was a great book. The ending blew me away; never saw it coming. Seriously, never saw it coming. I've read many of Kay Hooper's books, and this was one of the best.

An earlier novel with Noah as a minor character. Full of tension and persons unknown with sinister motives.
A woman disappears, but is she the FIRST disappearance? A murdered body is found, but is it the FIRST murdered body? A woman has lost her memory, but was it HER memory?

I guess I'm going to have to be the lone dissent. This book was okay. It didn't set my hair on fire or anything. I'm not rushing to read more of her work. It's a good time passer I suppose. I did finish the entire book, but I found the ending to be oddly unsatisfying and unrealistic. It's true I didn't see it coming, but mainly because it's just so unbelievably bizarre.
Just meh.

This is an excellent thriller/romance! I have the whole Shadows series (there are three altogether) and they're wonderful! Hooper has written three different trilogies involving these main characters who all have psychic powers. They're great!

This is the second book in the "shadows" trilogy and is much better than the first. I was actually surprised by the ending, and I'm not usually in this type of book! A fun way to spend a lazy weekned morning or a few evenings!
