A flowing, highly readable narrative of cotton, cotton growing, Delta history, the problems of small scale farming, all revealed by following one farmer's growing year.
This book is chock full of " Wow, I did not know that" information and new looks at even familiar material.

Great read for those who like to collect tidbits of information about "stuff".
