WOW--at first I didn't think I would like the book, but as I got more involved with the characters, I became more involved with the story as a whole.

Oradour really did happen and I had never known about it. If I ever go back to France, I will definately visit and pay my respects.

Highly recommended, especially if you are either a France or WW2 enthusiast.
