Hello all! I have a few freshman-college level textbooks on my shelf that I thought you all may be interested in for your high schoolers.

Point Counterpoint was used in my second semester English (research) class. Has a lot of essays to quote or debate, etc. and I even remember enjoying it! (And I actually have TWO copies of this, though it will only let me list one in the system.)

Government by the People was used obviously in my freshman government class. Typical textbook, like-new condition.

Collaborative Education to Ensure Patient Safety was used by my husband when he took a course to become a Certified Nurse's Aid. It has no ISBN, apparently written at the school itself. (McLennan Community College in Waco, TX where Baylor University, Hillcrest Hospital, and Providence Cardiac Hospital are.) Great for any student considering a job in the health care field.

EDIT: Also, I have the duo set of Joy of Sex and More Joy of Sex. Not sure these are textbooks, but they're certainly educational. *LOL* These are hardcover, with dust jackets, in great condition albeit they are a few decades old. Again great for those in the healthcare profession, or if anyone is looking into sexual marital counseling or some such, or great for an engaged couple. Very, very graphic, and illustrated (with drawings, not photos), but excellent for the student who's old enough for it. Or, get it for you. :)

I'm out of credits right now, with a wishlist book I *NEED* for our homeschool up, so if you'll buddy me the credit for your order I'll make it a deal. (2 for 1, 3 for 1, let me know what you see. Only one hardback per deal made please, for shipping cost considerations.) Thanks for looking!

Also, PCs for Dummies would make a great computer lit guide for your student(s) or other family members.

Bump.

I have a few college texts not listed. US Government, General Psychology, Basic Math, and a few others. If you're looking for something specific, ask!
