Reading this book, I was as totally engrossed as I was once upon a time plowing through all the books in my grandmother's garage when I was ten years old and spending a long hot summer. Holiday is fascinating, believable and unbelievable at the same time, a tale with riveting truths and great, delicious absurdities. Best to read this while you are at home sick; you won't want to go to work.
