Therapist Shannon Collins and her Equine Assisted Therapy program are what Rafe Pierson feels is the last resort in getting his traumatized daughter to speak again. After exhausting all conventional forms of therapy, he turns to the pretty doctor for help. He doesn't make it easy-he's highly skeptical and harboring a great deal of grief himself. Healing children was her life, her passion... all she needed. Until sexy single father Rafe Pierson brought his daughter to her rustic ranch. The solemn little girl longed for a mother, and Shannon Collins suddenly longed to be a mother. But being Janine's mother meant being Rafe's wife... and the deputy district attorney had made it clear he never intended to marry again.
