I really loved this book when I first started reading it when I was in my early 20. Now I have to admit It took me a little bit to read it, because It really gets you to thinking "What would Jesus Do?" and since I didn't always want to do what he would do, I would have to put the book down for a week or two..... to try to get that out thought of my head. But we all need to live by "What would Jesus do?" It is a GREAT BOOK.. I totaly recommened it, and I like to re-read it now and then.

Where WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) originated! One of the best books I have ever read, in my top 10 list. One of the most inspirational stories you will ever read! Has an impact and makes you think each day how you are living and how Christ would live in your place. After a dramatic incident in their quite little church, small town church pastorchallenges members to commit as he is going to and ask for one year in every moment, choice, difficulty, conflict, and sacrifice, before they do anything, "What would Jesus Do". A handful take the challengePeople from every walk of life and how it dramatically changed each of their lives. You too will find yourself wanting to take the challenge and serve Christ step by step. FANTASTIC BOOK!

This is a classic because in every generation the challenge is to live out our Christianity in everyday life. When a group of people "walk the walk" together, the community does change.

What would Jesus Do is the question to be considered before each and every decision we make. This book is an appeal to Christians to follow in Christ's steps regardless of what others might do.

This is a wonderful book, will make you think or even re-think your Christianity. What would Jesus do? Is the theme of the whole book.

One of my all time favorites. Written over 100 years ago, it is the story of a small town group of people in their church you are challenged to start living, thinking and acting as Jesus would instead of in the worldly way they have always lived. It is s most salient message to the church today about learning to live and trust God for their needs as they set aside worldly wisdom and live a biblical life.

From this decision, they discover a living and cogent Lord who loves, meets and provides for their needs in ways that leave all of them transformed. A must read for Christians, or those who are considering the faith, to encourage them in the complete trustworthiness of our living triune God in heaven and on earth.

It is from this book that the WWJD (what would Jesus do) comes from. A classical must-have for all Christian libraries.

This book is absolutely wonderful, one of my all time favorites. It delves into the various character's lives and the everyday decisions they are faced with as they try to live in line with what they believe Jesus would do in their place. It is fascinating to observe their victories and defeats and to recognise myself in their weaknesses and strengths of character. The story is suitable for a wide age range and is both interesting and thought provoking. It is definitely worth reading and is on my list of the most influential and enjoyable books I've read.

This is the book that started the whole WWJD craze of the late 1990's. After asking "What would Jesus do?" before every decision, the members of Henry Maxwell's church realized how far from true Christian living they were, which called for major changes in their lifestyles. Today, the WWJD movement is strongly criticized by some Church people, often citing reasons similar to the opponents of the movement depicted in the novel itself. Hmm...sounds like the novel had some prophetic quality

Charles Sheldon's timeless classic! What Would Jesus Do (WWJD)? WWJD - there four popular letters can trace their origin to Charles M. Sheldon's classic novel, 'In His Steps'. This time-honored book is the story of one church's pledge to consider, 'What would Jesus do?' before each and every decision. For some, following Christ's example brought great joy. For others it caused misunderstanding, conflict, and suffering. It meant an entire dedication of money, talent, career, and influence.

What happened when Christians in a local church pledged for an entire year not to do anything without first asking the question \"What Would Jesus Do?\". For some, following Christ caused misunderstanding, conflict and suffering, but great joy. It meant entire dedication of money, talent, career, and influence to Christ.
