I searched but did not find a thread devoted to collecting sites that index or review historical fiction. There are threads asking specific questions about certain sites, but a collection of links to these sites.

I want to share 2 I came across while searching for a book that would take me into the heart of a Central or South American country.

  • BiblioTravel - a site devoted to indexing books about places. It includes a lot of HF, but it isn't devoted entirely to HF. There collection isn't at all complete, so if y'all want to join and add to it, the site could benefit from your knowledge. smiley
  • Library Booklists and Bibliographies - very nice annotated collection of fiction on all sorts of topics and settings. Take a look at the detailed categories in the Travel Fiction section, if you seek fiction about a particular place.

As for the book I found, I selected Chapultepec by Norman Zollinger. I lived near Chapultepec for a short while when I was in my 20s. I can't wait to revisit the castle, the ruins and other old haunts.

Please add your HF sites to this thread. I know we have another thread devoted to member blogs.
