One of my requested titles has had a " hold " placed on it . I don't think I placed the hold . Does this mean that I won't be notified when the book is available ?

How to I remove the hold ?

Thank you ,

Amy

Click/check the small box next to the book on hold on your WL and go to the top of the page. Choose checked 'unhold' and the book will remain on your WL but become active, retaining your place in line.

This usually happens when a member has multiple versions of the title on their WL and one is offered; linked copies are placed on hold. It also happens when a WL book is offered and the member chooses 'not now'. It will go on hold so it can be offered to the next person in line but you don't lose your #1 position in line and choose when to be ready for it.

PBS will put a hold on your WL books if you are offered one and are wishing for multiple versions. That could be what happened. Have you accepted a WL book in the last couple of weeks?
