I thought this book was really insiteful into the intimate relationship Jesus has with Joseph his earthly father. It was a powerful message. It also gives you a glimspe as to what Jesus might have been like as a man.

Back cover: Eavesdropping on eternity
Imagine two conversations, some 30 years apart, between the mos celebrated person in history and his earthly father.
In the first, the father (Joseph) tells the infant son the extraordinary details of his birth. God has invaded earth in a most unlikely place and under the mos unusual circumstances, he says.
In the second exchange, the son talks with his father - now on his deathbed - about what is to come. Not only will miracles turn many from darkness to light, he says, but wicked men will use the materials from his father's occupation against him. And out of that agonizing reality, the world will be changed forever.
As master storyteller Jerry Jenkins (left behind series) and master artist Ron DiCianni transport us to the handscrabble Middle East of the first century, you'll eavesdrop on converstaions and scenes so profound that they may forever change how ou view the Incarnation. Such a short book yet so powerful. This is truly a classic. A story between Christ and his earthly father Joseph and the unique love and devotion only they shared. Heart warming and touching. Love in the pure form. Remarkable.

Delightful novella. Written by co-author of the Left Behind series. Book is written as two conversations - one being Joseph and his newborn baby, Jesus, as he attempts to comfort a fussy baby at night. The second is Jesus comforting his earthly father on his deathbed. Offers a brief glimpse into the life of Jesus while here on Earth. Recommended reading!
