I was lucky enough to pick up a HB of this at the thrift store today, and I want to highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good laugh.  I remember the first time I read it I literally had tears running down my cheeks from laughing.

Going everywhere from Beirut to Dollywood, P.J. O'Rourke wrote these pieces when he was a columnist for Rolling Stone.  Although some travel info is out of date, the humor is not -- he's not advocating FOR these trips, anyway.

I'm hoping someone with the blues snaps it up and enjoys the laughter.

PJ O'Rourke is one of the funnist writers around. He can make anything interesting. I don;t agree with his politics, but at least he's funny about it.

Bush drove even O'Rourke out of the Republican party.

I am NOT starting a political discussion here -- just sayin', that's all.  He hasn't been quiet about it.
