Sweet and simple kinda read. I enjoyed this book very much, and thought it was very down to earth and true to life. If you're in the mood for an uncomplicated, emotional, genuine romance then try this one. Especially if you are an animal lover. I consider myself primarily a cat person but I love dogs too and have my own, so I also enjoyed that aspect of the book. The author painted a pretty true portrait of life with cats and dogs for pets, in my opinion.

Very well written book ~ real life situations. Looking forward to more books by this author.

When kindergaren teacher Sally Foster agreed to be the guardian for a friend's child, she never imagined the worst would actually happen. Now she's lost her best friend - and gained a fourteen year old "son" grieving both the death of his parents and the use of his legs. Micah's only link to his old life is his boisterous puppy Sophie, but when canine expert Tanner Dodge agrees to help the boy train his dog, she's surprised to discover that she needs to learn a few things about trust, responsibility - and what it means to lose someone you never thought you'd love....

she's a cat person thrown into the dog world!
