A great book. When Jenny Mc Gregor's twin brother is killed in a car accident, Michael, Jenny and her family face a great loss. Suddenly, Jenny is no longer "one of the Mc Gregor twins".

Although Jenny and Michael often quarreled, he had been like a part of herself. How could she ever get used to life without him?To Jenny, the loss seemed more her own than the rest of the family's.

Then Jenny's parents decide it is time to take a positive step to help them all to adjust to a new life. Home from Afar is the story of how one family reaches out to another troubled family. It is the story of family courage and also of family misunderstandings. It will surely make a strong and lasting impression on all who read it. This is an outstanding book.
