Just Started this series, was surprised by the religious aspect of this series so far but it's not over the top so it reads well. I'm enjoying it and it's been easy to keep the characters and their relationship to others straight to follow the "life" of everyone in Cape Light.

Their lives are not without disapointment-even heartbreak. But there is something special about this town. Once you come, you won't want to leave.

Mayor Emily Warwick can't remember the last time she let herself dream. Her days are consumed by responsibilities of the job & the incessant demands of her elderly mother. And there's her younger sisiter, Jess, who is about to marry a man their mother despises. Emily has 2 months to bring her mother around, but so far the plan isn't working. And it doesn't help that Emily's still mourning the husband she lost & wondering what happened to the baby she gave up for adoption 20 yrs. ago. Sometimes she thinks it would take a miracle to fill the hole in her heart.... Good story
