First book I've read by the Author or Steeple Hill Love Inspired series. It reminded me of a Harlequin Romance book. I enjoyed the story. I would read more of her books. I'm not a religious person so I just skipped over the character's praying and repeating Bible verses parts. It didn't hinder the storyline. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for this type of story. It kept my attention and even though I figured out the ending, it still had me wanting to get there.
