I feel like I've searched everywhere to find a recipe for homemade dishwasher detergent, so I'm turning to you guys! I've tried just washing soda and it coats my dishes, it's really gross. Does anyone have a recipe?

Thanks for the link to that discussion Mary. I agree with the person who wrote that you really need very little dishwasher detergent. I buy a big container for around $3 at Wal-Mart (Palmolive, I believe) and it seems to last a long time.
