From back:
When her dying Father entrusted her to the care of Dominic Santrell, one of London's most infamous rakes, Arlie Whitman was thrust into a world of elegance and privilige she had never imagined. However, her initiation into society was nowhere near as frightening as the powerful desire Arlie felt in Dominic's company. The dark and dashing earl claimed that she needed a husband, but Arlie knew she needed only Dominic's love...
Dominic had vowed never to marry--in his experience, love was at best, an evening's pleasure. Yet the parade of young men courting his ward was unbearable when Arlie's innocent beauty haunted his dreams. And after one night of passion together, Dominic wanted to claim Arlie's heart himself--and keep her in his arms forever.
Review:
I didn't know that this book was rewritten for Ellora's Cave when I ordered it from PBS. I have to admit, while I enjoyed the book/story in general, I found it hard to 'bond' with either H or h.
