A civil war romance. Reflects some of the extremes of life before, and during the war. Not a true story, but moving just the same. Features a strong willed heroine and very arrogant but tempting male lead. I always enjoy a good romance.

Good book with some historical touches too.
With a brother who is crazed, a slave who is her like a sister, an obsession with a smuggler, Cameron faces some tough situations. This Civil War story is more than just a light romance and fun read. It is thought provoking as well as extremely entertaining.
