For some wonderful reason this is my favorite JG book. I love the humor, romance, drama and excitement that this storyline brings to life. I re-read this book every couple of months hoping some Scottish guy is coming my way! If you only read one of her books, this HAS to be the one. A excellent must read.

As always with Julie Garwood's books - this one is fabulous! Baron Duncan Wexton (aka the Wolf) captures Lady Madelyne while retaliating against her brother for a terrible crime her brother committed. Little did he realize he was actually freeing Madelyne from her brother's ruthless and cruel clutches. He falls in love with her and vows to protect her with his life.
