Third in the Blackwood srries, this is a somewhat depressing book about the slaughter in the trenches of WW I Europe and Turkey.
I don't know about you, but with each successive Blackwood generation worried about death on the battlefield and viewing fighting battles as a 'chore,' perhaps they should abandon their careers in the Royal Marines and instead think about the Theater, Banking, or even, as a very last resort, entomology!
