This was a great story that was full of action, adventure, an appropriate "love-story" for this age level and friendship.

It was a great introduction to the Hork-Bajir and how the Yeerks first came to be there as well as the beginning of a rebel force that lived on long enough for the Animorph chronicles to pick up.
