This was a great story that was full of action, adventure, an appropriate "love-story" for this age level and friendship.

It was a great introduction to the Hork-Bajir and how the Yeerks first came to be there as well as the beginning of a rebel force that lived on long enough for the Animorph chronicles to pick up.

Before the Animorphs...on another world...the fight began. Prior to their invasion of Earth, the Yeerks attacked a gentle and docile species known as the Hork-Bajir. This is the story of a special Hork-Bajir, his Andalite friend, and their future enemy, Visser Three.
