A wonderful story I read over and over as a young girl! Addy wants a Christmas tree in their house this year, but her bitter father hasn't allowed one in the house since Addy's mother died. Can Addy change his mind?

Ages 10 on up or so.

I loved this book when I was a girl, I read it over and over. Addy wants a Christmas tree in her home and doesn't understand why her Dad is so dead set against it. She does find out in the touching ending. A great book about awkward father-daughter relationships too.

Beautiful pencil sketch-type illustrations I used to just stare at...a great holiday book for kids around ages 8 on up!
