Well, I did my usual, collect the set then read. I have the entire series (except the newest) and started Marked yesterday.

I'm half way through it and I'm, like, you know, so TOTALLY tired of like, you know, the dialogue. I want to reach out  and choke! blush

I've read YA paranormals before and the dialogue is like, you know, totally not this bad.

Does it get better or should I bring the lot to my UBS and find another book to read? Does the story line pick up? It's kind of interesting but it's like it's all in slo-mo and really dragging ....

Let me have those opinions!!

This is a series that I like but don't love.  I read the first three so fast that they are really one book in my mind.

I think that it does get better, if I'm remembering correctly.  I'd give it until Book 2 to decide wether or not to box up the lot.  I can't say the dialogue improves, but the plot does get more engaging, at least IMHO.

Yeah, I agree, that I cant say that the dialogue gets much better. Actually thats probably the only thing that I dont like about the books. The first one did drag a little for me but by the end of the second one I was hooked! Id say stick with it just a little while longer to see if your gonna get into em more.

OK, will do. I'll hold out as long as I can . . . that teenage dialogue (and they don't talk like that any more -- at least not around here or in Salt Lake where I used to live) is going to drive me bonkers!
