A haunting story of a life sadly lived. A good portayal of how the captive becomes enraptured with her captor. The setting is Ireland during it's struggle to free itself of the English dominance. Often it is difficult to decide whose side you are on in the greater struggle as well as in the personal struggle portrayed in the story. A definite 5 stars!
