Well, what do you like to read?  I love Hans Fallada, he describes life in Germany before, durting and after WWI.  If you appreciate Carl Larson, the Swedish artist/author, you will appreciate hans Fallada.  MACHEN SIE SICH FREI HERR DOKTOR, is a real funny book about this British Hospital where the author actually had worked as a doctor.  It is full of the idiosyncracies one can encounter in an ever-so-high falluting hospital.  Hans Helmut Kirst writes crime stories that are much less violent than today's typical fare but he uses his writing to point out many things that could benefit from a change in attitude, lifestyle, etc in Germany.  He was very popular from the 1950's to about 1990's, roughly. ELTERN FUER ANFAENGER is a How-to-deal with parents book for teens.  It is rather amusing. Spoerl, Stern and Wohmann are all writers who use their novels to comment on German society.

Is that any help?

Lindsay, I´m sorry I had to turn your request down. Due to the earthquake last night my piles (and I´m talking about piles with 2000 books) got all messed up. 8-O I will re add the books as soon as I found them. :-S

Hi! I just ordered 2 books. I ordered Wally McDoogle   #1 My life as a smashed Burrito and #3 My life as a broken Bungee Cord. For my freebies I would like #4 My Life as Crocodile Junk Food, #9 My life as Reindeer Kill and Book 2 My Life as Alien Monster Bait.

Thank you very much. I'm sure my son will enjoy these.

Thank you,
